yesterday i made it to orientation and it was pretty good. i need to build more confidence. this girl stood up and got 4 amazing things. i am still happy with mine, but whatever. when math and writing came up, no one offered, so i did. of course that is what we talked about. but there is also green team, girls group, story art and other more creative ones i would've done. but i also am doing world music and recycled art. so i am jazzed about that. and it's a good balance. and i already found creative math and writing lessons. i want to make shape pictures. i want to make an owl. they can make whatever they want. as long as they use the shapes i give them.
i am really congested. but i am on a 5 hour train ride so i am going to take a benadryl before i get on and sleep the whole way there. and then do laundry. and then off to the bay (where the watermelons grow) fri-sun. and then i am leaving tuesday morning to get back.
i want to plan some stuff for my birthday weekend as it coincides with the last weekend before i start work. woot.

I am also very congested. My face is throbbing! It's terrible. I can't imagine feeling this way all of the time.
Jay and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary on your birthday this year. We're getting all dressed up and going out to a fancy restaurant. Super exciting!

hells yeah...i am stoked for recycled art! and world music, too. she let me know that because of limited supplies and not knowing what of the schools limited stuff we can use, so exposure is a good avenue to take, like doing some cultural lesson about india and play my bollywood cd by authentic indian artists. woooooooo
i was super congested this morning. it's lame. hopefully in my future will be some health insurance and get better stuff or shots maybe. err.

the bay is where jane's whole family owes 18 acres of land on birch point. there is a lodge and cabin and steps to the beach and tons of wonderfulness. i have pix that i am going to put on flickr tomorrow.
