in the news today

this day started off lame...but luckily it got better. i took the same bus as i did yesterday but the transfer was early so a bunch of people missed it and had to take the next one so i think i was like 5min late or something. meh. it was supposed to be 85 and sunny, i checked last night at like 11pm. this morning it was raining, well misting, but still and it was freaking cold, like kids had winter jackets on cold. it stayed drab all day which was a bummer but it magically got nice around 3pm. wheee. i went to the bank to deposit my paycheck, chilled for a little bit at home and then rode my bike to the staff meeting. it was a nice ride. the staff meeting was faboo.

we found out classrooms and staffing. i am delighted to be in the stargarden which is the name for the pre-k classroom of 18 4-5 year olds. both of the other teachers are rad but one of them is on summer break. ze told me that they were not planning on returning but didn't want to leave with a negative vibe so was going to tell everyone later. i blabbed this when drunk with the staff one evening bc everyone was guessing ze wouldn't be back. erg. i asked the other teacher if they had heard from the teacher on break and they haven't. sigh. i hope that if ze is leaving ze tells them soon so that they can find someone and we can be all set for fall. we'll see. don't let that overshadow my EXTREME EXCITEMENT AND JOY! wooooo hooooo!!!!! =-)

i figured out that levothyroxine which i am taking for my thyroid disfunction has a side effect of changes to menstrual cycle, last month i was suuuuupppppeer depressed for like 2 weeks =/ but at least i know. i have been losing about 1-3 pounds a week, i am weighing myself on the same scale at group every week. woo hoo. i still need to eat better at home. i should go shopping. i need coffee and tp stat and i forgot to stop on the way home and now am super tired and don't wanna go out again. i have tea i could make. or i could get a coffee, i hardly ever do that and i just got paid. we shall see what tomorrow brings...
