weight...wait...waite...

i've been healthily and gradually losing weight, like 1-3 pounds a week. me thinks the thyroid medication is working bc i haven't done anything different since april (read: very active at work and going to and from, somewhat active on wkends; eating well with occasional indulgences) and i have been losing weight ever since on it. gaining weight is actually a side effect, so it's just working. i am only 27 pounds away to first goal weight which seemed unattainable when it was 42 pounds, so i've lost 15 pounds, wow i didn't realize that, go me! a tell-tale sign will be when i visit my family in WA bc i haven't seen them since um, march? so i'll see if they notice not that it matters =P

so my digital tv converter box stopped working? i was watching some show about how to save energy a while back and it said to not just turn the tv off, but anything else, which for me is dtv converter, vcr and playstation. now the dtv box just is stuck on standby with the red light glowing and won't turn on by hand or with the remote so i get no channels =( i wonder if i have the warranty. i bet the government designed them to be shitty, i got it with the voucher which i may have another of. i unplugged it and it messed up my loop for seeing things on the tv so i kept it plugged in bc it's been HOT, like too hot to mess around with cables for more than 2 minutes and by that time already profusely sweating everywhere. no fun. i thought i got my new video card, but i got my printer ink, weee =-)

today at work one of the kids who speaks er, differently, was trying to tell a story at the table to me and o, the cook and we seriously could not figure it out, it sounded first like 'we all were popping our noses' and it turned out she was saying 'we all put popcorn on our noses!' and then she laughed and said 'it was so silly!', she is a riot. she was wearing a collared white with a pattern shirt, suspenders with creepy clowns on them and vertically thin stripped shorts. she looks like how i was dressed as a child, except my suspenders were rainbow, but after i think about it, it totally makes sense, i'm the same age as some of the parents. so, i can't think of anything to say now.
