a weird thing happened...

the other day i was on the phone with my friend and a tall man about 40ish dressed in a white ribbed tank top and khaki cargo shorts came to my door, which was open so he was able to see me through the screen. he seemed a little disheveled but was asking if i knew the lady who lives in the last apartment (there are only 9 units so we all see each other kind of). i have seen her walking but i wouldn't even know if she was upstairs or downstairs (which i would assume). anyway, he said that he was her son and that the couldn't get a hold of her by phone for a few days and no one was answering the door. he asked if i knew neighbor x and i did and he asked me to tell him to have lady call her son. my friend said that the son should have called the police and i wondered why he hadn't actually.

well, i see neighbor x while i am outside with my friend sky3. i tell him what happened. he told me that by the point the son was looking he had already taken her to the hospital and then that she had died friday afternoon. he went on to tell me that the son was a drug addict (meth mostly) that was only out for money. neighbor x told me that the son is not allowed on the property by law and that i should avoid him if i see him. holy moly. good thing i wasn't sitting here naked as i do with the door open which i am now reconsidering. i have clothes on now and have for a few days bc it has been hot but not mega hot.

so, i had texted bo a few times with no response and am kinda kicking myself for even reaching out but i did wanna stay friends, we were only dating like 4months, and i wanted to stay friends with his friends which is how i met him in the first place. anyway. he wrote in first text 'Nurologist Today' spelled that way and then a second text 2minutes later 'Didn't See Your Last Txt Till Now Lol' which is a lie bc with txts out they either show an arrow or a check, an arrow means it's sent (or you use an i-phone and never show a check) and then a check means it's delivered as in opened by the receiver (there is also a red x if it fails). there is a check by the txt out, i check and it was delivered 2 minutes after i sent it on thursday when i sent it. i kinda want to 1) ignore it, 2) reply that i know he got it thursday, 3) reply good luck. meh. advice?

i was going to try black coffee bc 1) i ran out of cream a bit ago and 2) i ran out of sugar the other day and 3) to be healthier with my coffee. but i drank a whole cup and still feel super tired and it wasn't the same. so maybe i will bike to the store n get milk and sugar. i was thinking of a free jazz fest but not feeling it, my friend plays in 15 minutes and i would want to see that if i went. def. going out tomorrow =)
