scott pilgrim has attained the power of self respect

WOW. i really didn't know what to expect, but scott pilgrim vs. the world was AMAZING! back to that.

i was feeling kinda crummy all of sudden yesterday. i had talked to sky3 and she was gonna come over after her coffee date and felt good. i got hot and headachy and sore and tired =/ i layed down with heating pad and was just gonna call it a day, but i couldn't sleep either =/ she still came over and brought me food and drink and midol, what a pal! i felt better. we rode downtown and i sold some books for $16 and then i had movie tix and we went to see scott piligrim.

i love michael cera and jason schwartzmann is quirky and comedies are good and i had heard some people liked it, but it seriously blew me away. i was laughing so freaking hard i cannot even tell you. no one could contain themselves. it was done so well and it needed to be bc it could've sucked, bad. they ended with a continue question, so i hope they make another, i would see it for sure!

then i rode down to a club and danced my ass off to some music. sam, my bro's man and etc., is the bass player and room mate of ben who last year decided it would fun to mix afrobeat and michael jackson. ironically he did this right before michael jackson died and it became a huge hit. it's people from all different bands and the compositions are intricate and it takes time and 11 people coordinating everything, so anyway, they decided to do 2 last shows one last night in portland and one tonight in seattle. it was awesome! sheesh. the band noticed i danced. whee.

i got home late. fooled around on the internet for way too long but had fun and slept in today. it's like 6pm and it feels like noon. this week is in-service at work, 9-10 am yoga, chanting, meditation and snack. i might not drink coffee before, but i might fall asleep, but meditation can do that. and then i am working with a very exuberant and eccentric teacher for the day helping clean her room and closet space and teacher's office space which i didn't actually realize was for all of us, so i am going to dialogue. then tuesday, me jva and sbelle will be working on beautifying and making a daily and weekly rhythm for the stargarden class. i think i mentioned i am working 12-5:30 which i was kinda bummed about bc of hours and also i thought morning would be better but they want strong afternoon people. neat. tis all. peace.

Your job is amazing. Did you director ever use yoga to help you? I'd be really interested in hearing about that...

God, sorry I've been so absent from the blogworld in recent months. It's been a crazy summer and I've been living it offline. But, I'm back now... and I have loved catching up on your posts here.

we never got to do our one on one yet, we had written back and forth but it hasn't happened yet. we had yoga today and the next 3 days but since it's my time i can't do it for the most part, but i participated as much as i could today and meditated the whole freaking time which i even impressed myself by.

i peeped your blog, me likey, i suspect they will be frequent visits in the future ;)
