yes i had a crappy weekend. yes i binged and got sick. yes i called out of work on monday like a fool. yes i have no money. but let's focus on the positive.
even though i didn't do much over the weekend, i did spend a few hours at the hippies and saw people. (a few too many, overwhelmed a bit) i watched some damn fine television programming as well as some challenging and fun computer games and such. i (at the time) enjoyed pizza, ice cream, chocolate stuff, diet pepsi.
i felt like arse monday morning. besides feeling totally nauseous and sick, i couldn't breathe at all. at all. damn allergies, i got my insurance card and pamphlets of providers, i should set up my appt. NOW, i think it starts july 1st, that would be bomb, yo. anyway, my eyes were closed shut. my nose was clogged. my throat was sore and about to ralph wasn't helping. so i e-mailed out bc my phone was shut off again. agh. and i have a electric shut off notice. by july 8th i gotta have something figured out. paying it would be nice.
but, feeling gross and guilty i did put laundry into a basket (still some on floor) and did dishes (still some to do). and rested up like a good, sick girl. my sinuses are still a mess. and i went to the store and got a bus pass and some food. and i went to karapist even though i almost didn't bc i got pissed when i tried to call to see when the bus would be there and it brought me to the 'pay your bill' recording and then the whole way on the bus i was like, 'i could get off here and take the 9 home' or whatever. but i went. and it was really good i went, it was a great session and karapist snagged me a flonase to boot, mega-score!
i love this job. i don't want to mess it up. today was a good day. but i have a 5 1/2 year old nemesis. and she totally makes me feel like the bad guy. she's hella smart and i've been trying to challenge her with stuff in class. today actually was cool bc she got interested in the floor sample sensory activity and the toothpick painting, but she loooooves making trouble and rules and then when i explain very nicely that she can let the teachers get paper or let the kids dip their own toothpicks she gives me the stare down. i decided i wasn't going to have power struggles with her anymore bc it was just a waste of energy, but there are limits. but she's a kid and a smart and lovable and caring kid and it'll be so good for her to get into kindergarten where i hope she is challenged. anywho.
tomorrow's wednesday already, feels just like tuesday....ouch. foooood. and relaxation. and bed. and another good day to come :)

You know, my first reaction to your posts is always to comment on your kid stuff. But, today I think I should tell you something else.
I LOVE listening to your bus tales. And as much as I know you wish you had a car... I wish I didn't have a car. I long to miss buses and work out schedules and have long ass transit trips. Seriously, reading your posts are often like a dream to me. Sometimes I wish we could trade lives. I like my life... but sometimes I really wish I lived in portland and could hang out with so many friends that it was overwelming and watch as much tv as I liked and do laundry and wash my dishes... and just take care of myself. Sometimes it sounds like such freedom. Your life is like a movie.
there's more kid stuff. i work all day with them i have to in some way "talk" to adults, heh.
and, huh...i never thought of it that way. i can whatever the eff i want. and i have thought of making a movie about me. i think it's hilarious but thought it would be terribly boring. i have the first scene. it's me in bed with a camera on me. then me getting up with some cool angles and camera work to make it have perpindicularness to it. there's another scene i have with going down the stairs and have one shot of the inside closing the door and then of down the stairs without seeing the stairs at first so it looks like floating or falling and then showing the stairs and off to wherever, likely, a bus stop.
and you'll get more bus tales even as soon as the next post!
note: i can DO whatever the eff i want.
oh and p.s.
i long for the day when i have a hubby and kids, it seems like that would be nice sometimes. but it's not right now. (sorry for the spoiler)
Yay positive!
It's an upward climb, but you are definitely making progress and moving forward. Hope you are feeling better.
