i need Internet at home bc 1/2 of our school stuff is sent through email so we can conveniently spend our money and print out 30 articles for each class. her rationale was that we'd be saving paper if we all printed it ourself instead of them printing it. um, actually that uses the same amount of paper. and we pay fees to the school to get this stuff. and the links don't work anyway. and i am computer literate. there are people in my class who are not. 4 brave souls raised our hands and said paper copies would be better. we lost. also, Internet keeps sanity alive. nothing to do? Internet solves that. didn't get to watch the debate? youtube. sooooooon. tomorrow is the first disbursement of checks, please let me be in that first group, please please oh pretty please.
so. i am at school. i didn't make it to my tuesday class - socio-political issues which is one that i was looking forward to. i wasn't feeling great so i napped to feel better and totally made it on-time to my transfer and what happens?, the bus was early, of course. so my options were to stand on a huge intersection with tons of vehicles driving by and directly polluting my lungs while already feeling nauseous for 1/2-1 hour and be late to class that would prolly be more meet and greet crap or go home. i called and said i was going to be grossly late and then didn't go. i met with the teacher today and he gave me the material and i talked to other people and i don't think i missed much.
child development is the most disorganized class and i am learning NOTHING. i don't want a bunch of other students telling me what they thought the 3 most important things were, i want YOU TO TEACH ME!!! it's still super confusing. i am basically going to do everything at home and participate in class as need be. what's the distinction between a notebook and our journal? i think a lot of people are still trying to figure it out and she is being rude to them and then there is me and others who are just giving up on the class part which is quite unfortunate. whatever. i always pull it together somehow or another.
also giving props to myself for doing this well during a medication change and transition into school. *pats self on back* i did it, too. both sides. gotta have balance.
