i might want to cut my hair

i have an aversion to doing anything with my hair. now it's uber long and all i do is tie it up all the time. it's nice having it but i'm kinda bored with it. it takes a lot of shampoo and conditioner to clean it and a lot of time to wash it and even longer to brush it. which sometimes i don't do and tie it up in a bun, boring. my goal was to see how long i could grow it. it's past the top of my ass and i don't think it's going to stop growing so i consider that goal pretty much met. my sisses in WA always want me to get a hair cut. i talked to k about it before i went up there but her friend that does hair wasn't around, so i am thinking thanksgiving time i might do something with my hair.

criteria: 1) does not require doing stuff to it - no blowdrying, product or styling, i will use a brush and a comb, that's it. 2) i think i need it long enough to pull up, i literally have never had short hair but i don't think i'd like it 3) no coloring or perming or chemical treatments. ok, now here are 5 pictures for you to look at and see which you like best. would like lots of feedback as to why or why not you think this cut would work with me and my very serious criteria.

bangs and then all one length:

face frame aka the jennifer aniston:

bangs and layered:

i would prolly do this longer without making it a mullet:

i don't think i would ever do this, but it looked better than i thought and totally looks like m's hair:

Ok.

The last one would require lots of styling and product.

I think that I like the face frame best. Keep it about an inch or two beneath shoulder length, so it still feels long and isn't such a shock... and then take it up a little higher if you like it a lot.

Also, if you put bangs in... have them start out with just a thin long bang an keep cutting until you like them. That way, if you do not like it... you can grow them out or blend them in easily and immediately.

My experience with bangs has always been taxing. I get them once a decade, which is about how long it takes me to grow them out and forget how much I hated them on me. Other people look so cute in them. Me? Bah.

yeah. the last one is exactly like my sis in law mary's hairso kinda a joke and i wouldn't go that daring at first.

i won't give other opinions although i have them until others have answered.

ooooh.... I know that first haircut well! It's reese witherspoon from a few oscars ago! I love that one BUT what is special about it is that it's not just bangs and one length.... It's got a really subtle face frame too you can tell in the flyaways on the side. That's totally my fave hands down, but won't look as good without the slightly framed side. Love it! And it looks great with your face in there too!!

heh, i was wondering if anyone was gonna be able to name the celebrities. you are a wiener, ding ding ding!

ok, thanks for telling me about the slight face frame, i thought it was just the wind. but i tried other bangs on and the wind tunnel appearance was not as prominent.

thanks for the infor and your vote, it's important!
