my schedule is whack, yo. monday i tried to go to bed and just layed there the whole night not getting sleep until it was like 8am and i decided to get up and then i fell asleep from like then til 2, missing my 1pm appt but is fine for next week. and then today i was up around 11am i think and fell asleep right at 9pm after ANTM but woke up at like 1am seeming like my body did not want to go back to sleep. hrmph.
so here i am. i had a good coupla days. tuesday was class and i've totally become teacher's pet, a role i normally take on. i just help without even thinking, i couldn't get the bus until 10 anyway so i was going around collecting papers people had left on their desk instead of putting on the table. there was this official paper we had to fill out and sign and it needed a student rep, so he was like, hey can you do all this so i did and then he offered me a ride home. woot. i automatically just picked up boxes of stuff to carry and he's like 'you got that?' and i did. and i am now entrusted with the official program group norms. and i guess i have to introduce them into classes or something. i don't know. but i have the big poster board. in some classes we made class norms so i think it's more for next semester. i should hang it up at home, that'd be dope.
he also referred me to the student services coordinator. i am going to get some accomodations made for me this semester and as long as i feel i need them at school. so even though all my teachers know what's up, now i can not worry about the project i didn't quite get done yet but was already due and focus on what is due now and set up a time frame for getting in the past work without affecting current work and be backed by the school. i am also going to work with the writing center who isn't neccissarily going to help me write but help me by having a check system in place and we'll set up dates for doing stuff like rough drafts or final papers or whatever and either i hand them in or i can do it by email. just another part of the support system.
so yeah, i met with her today and we are meeting again next week. i applied to 2 work study jobs in the library (i found out they are not posting them on the website every friday as it says they are and they go fast) and was going to go to the writing center to meet them, but it was raining like a bitch and i needed to go home. at one corner a truck drove past and i literally got soaked head to foot. it was awful. luckily some guy in a bright orange cap laughed politely and said, 'feel like you're in a movie or what? that was a movie moment', so i laughed, too. i asked my dad about rain suits and he said they did exist but were for people the worked out in the rain and are a pain in the ass to put on and off and are expensive. not to mention how cool i would look. (and think of colin constantly - he used to wear them at festivals in the rain)
so, it's time for a proper jacket and umbrella. *however* jackets are freaking expensive. hmph. and i didn't find that many umbrellas. so i might have to go to a store. pops suggested a second hand store. maybe i'll wait til i go up to WA for thanksgiving. ugh. the rain, the rain!
i have some stuff to do for class i think. i have to look. but not until tomorrow. i might just order online bc things take forever by bus and i have to leave by like 3 to make sure i am at school on time. and it's now after 3am and i prolly will be up for a bit before i sleep again for a few hour period. freaking weirdo.

so i have to know who you're leaning towards on ANTM... i used to like marjorie a lot -- but this last episode made me like her less... and im not a fan of her new shorter do. i think mckey is gonna take it -- but analeigh seems like the nicest, sweetest person ever. the blonde chick looks like a bird and i cant stand her. she takes nice pictures but she's kid of annoying. anyway, thats my take on that! not a very exciting season overall though. wah wah.
school sounds like its going great!! muchos kudos!! and i think working at the library actually sounds like an awesome job... books are the bomb.
and LASTLY, i didnt comment on this before -- but i mean to and got busy: i dont think resuming smoking is good for anything... specifically your lungs and more in the immediate sense, your wallet. its too expensive of a habit. :( even if it makes you feel better... its no good, no good at alllllll.
but i still think you're mcawesome! yay!
i actually wanted isis but that's long past ;) i liked majorie too, but after her winning the challenge it seemed like she just got so complacent and i actually agree with the judges, boring. i think sam needs more grease in her hair to win, agreed, totally annoying and when she dropped her arm at the last second in the photoshoot i knew that was going to be the frame, but she's lame. mckey annoys me but she is a good model. i would love for analeigh to take it, i love that she wears an old school peace medallion. yeah, agreed, not that exciting. but i'll still watch.
school is going great, see next post ;) and i would love to get a job at the library. i haven't heard anything since yesterday but maybe someone put in a good word for me like i asked. we'll see.
thank you for your honesty. i do not want to smoke. i realize it's a nasty, filthy habit. my grandpa died of lung cancer just this father's day. after this pack is gone i don't intend to buy anymore (although it's really addictive, really fast) and i hope to cut down quickly and ultimately stop my social smoking. thanks.
