after going out to the movie on thursday and am prof coming over on friday, i didn't see anyone saturday, sunday or today. i've talked to people, but i haven't really left my house. the longer i do this the worse it gets.
i was supposed to have an interview this morning. but i bailed. lame. it was for a center that is a division of KinderCare which I really don't like. but a job is better than no job. but i am in a weird place bc if i get the apprenticeship i potentially only have to figure out may, june, july and august and the summer camp sounds purrfect for that. the interview is wednesday, hopefully i can find out how much a month it pays and get a feeling for if i'm going to get it or not, or find out when i find that out.
i was supposed to have karapist, but she rescheduled for wed afternoon. c-los has been doing bead work, but since like one this afternoon, so i think he's prolly done with that. it's movie night, but they always watch serious movies.
i'm going to exerbike and make some indian food. i'll watch some tv and prolly read too. maybe i'll shower or clean more. my exciting life.

Okay, here's what I think:
you've mentioned a few times the uncertainty of the apprenticeship and school and what will need to happen if you get into school (regarding work.)
If you are okay right this second, and you'll know about the apprenticeship and school within the next few months... don't take a job that you wouldn't be able to quit.
If you really want some extra money, why not look for a babysitting gig under the table. Or, advertise yourself on Craigs List as a summer nanny for school aged kids. That way, your employer will know that you are only available for the short term... but you'll feel productive, won't get bored because you understand that it has a time cap and will be making extra money on the down low.
On another note, I know that you love karapist... but I feel like I read that she bails on you a lot. It seems as though she's not the most reliable therapist in the world. Also, when you need her the most you miss appointments (nature of the beast) and it never sounds as though she's proactive in your treatment in these times. I'm wondering how your treatment can be successful when it is inconsistent. I hope that this doesn't sound like I am condemning or criticizing her... but I wonder if you guys are a good therapist/patient pair. Maybe you'd make better friends?
i'm "ok" for the time being, but i am behind on bills and my credit cards are in bad shape, i think i need to do a service to help me out bc there is no foreseeable way to pay in a timely fashion.
i've been applying to home jobs like babysitting and nannying and wanted home summer camps, but haven't heard anything back from them. i am writing a nice e-mail outlining experience (not a formal cover letter) and adding my resume. i think my resume might be hurting me for those jobs. that's a good idea to make an ad for myself, work wanted. one job i am stoked for is for Portland Parks and is from June 15th-August 15th. i have to finish the app and interviews are the 2nd week of may for that.
karapist works at and i go to a clinic (http://outsidein.org/) that caters to low or no income people, with priority to youth and homeless people. she does out-reach 2 days a week and is only there 4 days a week. i've been going there for about 2 years and i've paid practically nothing for my sessions with her and psych and meds. i'd never be able to be able to get or afford the care i am getting anywhere else. she stays on top of me through email. and she calls me, too. one time she called me like 3 times in a row and she makes jokes "it's your therapist stalking you, making sure you're ok". she also gives me names and numbers of people i'd be comfortable talking to if i am in a rough time and she's not available. i also have the crisis line number right on my door. i am definitely happy with my treatment as are she and psych and we're totally friends, too. hope it doesn't sound defensive, thanks for your concern
I'm glad that you're happy with your treatment. Really, it's none of my business and I probably shouldn't have said anything.
no, it's fine to say something. i know you're only saying it out of concern. no one knows exactly what's going on and when there are pieces out of the puzzle it's easier for us to fill them in the way we think it might be. i do it too.
and actually it made me think about it, too. it is frustrating to have time changes and to have to go in at 1:30 to sign up for the pyshc clinic and not get called til 3:30. these are small downfalls to my treatment, but the good things outweigh them. i realize that i am getting top of the line service for bottom of the line price.
now i feel like i am promoting a sale or something. thanks for caring!
