lil' ms. braindead and delinquent

yesterday i went to get gas in my friend's car and i reached for my debit card which is always in the same spot and it's not there. i go home and search for it in the clothes i was wearing. i call the bank, they call me back and tell me they have it there, so i get it this morning.

that wouldn't be so bad.

i go to call the bank to find out what time they open, my phone is suspended.

ok, i'll check the Internet. no connection, NO! tv is cut off, too.

i get the card back and pay both and have to pay a reconnection fee for both.

what i don't understand is...my phone was only a month behind and i didn't get warnings and i think i've been worse before and didn't get suspended. maybe i'm a habitual offender.

and also they bill ahead for comcast so i was paid through the end of march, so only 1/2 a month behind, but i have 2 months due april and may? huh? i paid april.

it'd be a lot cooler if i got a job and had money to just pay my bills like a normal person.

ApprenticeshipInterview Recap: i first got a tour of the school which was amazing. all different old farm buildings on 20 acres of land and gardens and goats and awesomeness. i visited the two K-1 classes and the two 2nd-3rd classes. in the K-1 class that i liked the look of the best, the lead teacher wasn't there so we didn't get a chance to meet but i got to see the apprentice as teacher in action and i want to teach there! the other K-1 class teacher is RAD. i think we'd be a good compliment to each other. the room was kind of plain for my taste, but i could help with that :) both the 2nd-3rd classes were good, the teachers and apprentices were really professional and the kids were all receptive to me and the lessons still, too.

i had lunch with what was supposed to be the two K-1 teachers but instead was the one that was there and a 2nd-3rd teacher.

then, they had me write an observation of the day. it ended up being 4 pages handwritten in pencil. i think i did ok, but i forget to mention some stuff that i thought of afterward.

after the admissions and director read what i wrote, they interviewed me. i think i did OK. i don't have a really good read on it. they asked me for other observations i didn't write (which kinda made me think maybe i didn't write the right stuff - oweoweo) but i was able to come up with 2 examples. they asked me a lot of questions that caught me off guard and i of course came up with better answers after the fact.

and i lied. they asked if i read. and i said i read a lot of fiction. and they were like what about professional books? and i said that i read books at jobs which i did. and they didn't seem impressed and there was an awkward silence and i said i was reading a book about different world school systems. and i said i was drawn to it by it's cover at the library. they asked if they had examples of apprenticing and i brought up africa and community and village culture that they all learned through watching and doing which essentially what apprenticing is. it seems like a silly thing, but i didn't know what the hell else to say, i definitely felt like the answer of 'no' would have been frowned upon.

i didn't really get a good read like i said. my mom and karapist think i'll get it, i'm not that over-confident but i feel OK. i'll find out in mid-may and it starts end august and i would get a 10% tuition reduction at MH and insurance through MH and also a $500 stipend a month.

--i am so tired. and my face hurts. i can't believe that my allergies get worse every year. well. they did just paint so maybe the fumes are getting to me. they did power wash the outsides of the building but they didn't in the the stairways so they essentially painted over dust and pollen in the whole entrance to my place and the other ones. wah wah. i am going to watch l&o and maybe eat something.
