so yesterday i pretty much thought it was clear that i quit the job. my phone was off bc i wanted to charge it all the way up and didn't feel like talking to people anyway. this morning i get up at like 6 again but stay in bed later, i decide to check messages. there is a txt message pleading 'i need u 2day and 2morrow. no lifting, i promise.' wow. then i get a voice message saying that she no longer needs my service (uh, you can't break up with me, i already broke up with you) and that i was completely unprofessional and not reachable by phone (all hours of all days, mind you. i am not answering another call from a new job at 8pm on wednesday night or better yet 5:45pm on sunday - mother's day, did you just decide then to have the staff meeting?) which is not OK and this would've been a really good addition to my resume and that i have to email her which address to send my check to. um. the only address i ever gave you or have on any forms there. so, i will lay it all out to her, thing is i don't want to battle and i know some of the things i say she will be on the defense about, but i can just ignore it if she replies. lame.
i really wanna go out and get coffee. i should walk to the store and get some and breakfast stuff and make it. and then search for jobs. and leave at 11:45 to go down-town with a filled in and sealed ballot and to OI. maybe go to the hippies. come home. look for job. clean. tv. Internet. sleep. call people. not necessarily in that order.

Hey, I know that you said that you texted her and said you weren't coming in but would email her later.
Did you do that?
If not, she might have just thought that you were really sick or something.
Sorry that this has been such a mess for you. I hope that you find something you really love... or could just tolerate and pays your bills... very soon!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you please email me your address again? I know that I ask for it all the time. But, I'm never on top of anything.
hey there. i said that i was too sore and also embarrassed to ever come in again. that's when i got the pleading message 'we need you, no lifting'. i am emailing her again now to give her my only address she has to get me my paycheck which i can almost guarantee is $9-10/hr not $11-12 for my "director" position.
i should've trusted my instincts on this one. i applied back in 2006 and had a way too long phone conversation. this job i applied for had been on craigslist in Jan-Feb08 and she didn't even call me til April 08. i wonder if she was with no one or if someone else did it for a few months and left and she started looking through old applications. either way. the place is in shambles. and i want no part of it.
i plan to spend all day (it's cool again - YaY) applying on-line. as long as it's on the bus line and pays $12+/hr, ok $10+/hr i'm there.
