the future is now

i can't believe it's 2010. it seems so futuristic, even more so than 2000-2009, the aughts are no more it's 2010. what do we call this decade, the tweens?, the teens? the future is confusing. i would like very much so to do more end of the decade quizzes, tests, polls, surveys, etc. i like that shiznat. so my trip was good and here i'm gonna break it, break it, break it down. way back in december of 2009 tuesday before christmas i traveled, i did not take any pictures bc i was grumpy and tired and stuck facing people on the train, again! wednesday i slept til like 9am and no one was home, but nana and k got there and we had a fun day =) she showed me her club house which is freaking amazing:


wednesday i went shopping at night and it was hell as expected but fine and i got a lot of stuff for cheap. i used money gift cards given to me to buy other people stuff =) i had fun wrapping presents and did so for bop and one for m, too, neat-o =)

thursday was christmas eve and we went to church which was fun bc the are good musicians and real people and it was pretty to shut down the lights (as much as technology and laws allow, lol) and hold candles. the chinese place was closed, what the hell? so we went to canyon's tex mex and then we went to see aaaaaavatar and i liked it, i liked it a lot. it was the first, recent 3-d movie i have seen and now i feel i will be let down with all others bc this one was aaaaaaamazing. i liiiiked it =D

and then santa came and it was christmas morning! i got lots of AWESOME stuff including a 250G external hard drive, earrings, hats, candles, gift cards, movie, food, wooooo!



then we got ready and went to grandma and grandpa t's house =)


we were excited!



after more presents and food we played poker where i lost $10. once a winner, not always a winner. i was happy that sbro n won, he deserved it bc he usually doesn't and plays really well, people just eff with people which is why i lose, bc i never bluff, i only bet if i have good cards. meh. it was funnnnnnn, i drank crown and coke and then a pabst to sober up, lol. really tho. ugh. we talked and ate and then drove our separate ways and all arrived safe and secure.

the weekend was low key, saturday we shopped for a fridge and camera and i felt blah, we watched 'august rush' on my recommendation, i was glad to see it on a bigger screen without station stop interruptions and the sound was soo much better. we went to church on sunday k came over bc m got called into work for a few hours, then i was gonna help them set up the kitchen but some part wasn't right or something so we cleaned instead, it was dusty. we all neti potted. k, too, she cried. that must be awful for a 5 year old, so brave, our k =)

monday, dad and i went to tula's were aus was supposed to play and they were still very good of course and i even won a 'staaf quartet' cd and got them to sign it and gave it to dad (he burned me a copy) by answering the carl was inspired by stan getz, but then the real answer was some obscure italian tenor saxophonist that no one got so i won, wooo!



tuesday the grrls went out, autiec is half japanese and it was her daughters bday so we went to an authentic japanese restaurant and took way too many pictures bc we got shitfaced drunk on 3 bottles of wine between 6 drinking, half a bottle each. we had to wait a hella long time to get the table and of course wine came before food so that didn't help much. but it was good and tons of fun!




we had the waitress take the last one after k took this one outside, i look handicapped but it was fun and i have to be able to laugh at myself


tuesday we hung out at the house. they asked if i could stay until friday instead of wednesday to help with k bc they had stuff to do. it worked out purrrfect. wednesday at the house and it wiped me out. i went to bed early and slept a lot on thursday. then went over to k and d's and had our huge party of 6 of us, including a 5 year old =)



we banged pots and pans and were loud and made fools of ourselves for a moment, wheee!


i had a great time! i got back and kept it pretty mellow. talked to friends. slept. hung out. watched movies and tv. did homework. finished first aid, cpr and food handlers. went to group and psych. they're proud of me =) i am proud of myself. wee. whew. done typing. love!!
